The Medical Clinical Assistant is a valuable member of our care team whose organization and attention to detail is highly relied upon. This role requires excellent communication and customer service skills and requires an ability to lead workflows with confidence and little supervision.
*Responsibilities*
* Builds new patient charts prior to appointments.
* Meets, assesses, interviews patients in an efficient and timely manner.
* Maintains efficient workflow.
* Obtains patients history, reviews medications, allergies, etc.
* Acts as liaison between patient, facility staff and provider.
* Obtains necessary consents and other documents from patients.
* Prepares and assists patients during exams.
* Communicates with provider for accurate and timely completion of notes.
* Maintains patient confidentiality.
* Assists with lab, pharmaceutical and the specialty referral order process.
* Maintains constant communication with facility staff on new admissions, patient discharges, etc.
*Requirements*
* 2 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant in a primary care or long-term care environment.
* Current CPR certifications
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

*Work Setting:* Onsite, multiple locations on your region throughout the week. _Current needs are in the Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Kenosha, Beloit, Wausau, Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids areas._
