Are you passionate about nutrition and ready to make a difference in the lives of seniors? Join American Senior Communities as a Clinical Dietitian Assistant and play a key role in supporting individualized nutrition care across two south central communities.
In this role, you'll work closely with a Registered Dietitian and assist in gathering information, support care planning, collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, and contribute to quality nutrition services for residents — all while gaining valuable experience in a rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities of a Registered Dietitian Assistant include:
Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian to support residents’ nutrition goals
Complete required nutrition documentation to support care planning
Work cooperatively with interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care
Conduct meal observations and interview staff/residents to ensure meals meet dietary needs in type, amount, consistency, and frequency
Assist with documentation and follow-up related to residents’ nutrition services
Help promote high-quality, resident-centered nutrition care
Qualifications:
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Diet Technician (DTR), or BS in Nutrition or other health related degree/actively pursuing a health related degree
Preferred: Experience with nutrition documentation
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Interest in working in long-term care or clinical nutrition
